Working hours calculator
Calculate working hours between two dates with custom workday start, end, lunch break, and weekday rules. Free working-hours calculator.
How the working hours calculator works
Enter a start date, an end date, your daily start and end times, and your daily break. The tool counts every Monday to Friday from the start date to the end date, including both dates, and multiplies that number of workdays by the hours in each day. The hours per day are the end time minus the start time minus the break. If the end date is before the start date, it swaps them.
It does not remove public holidays or leave days. Subtract those yourself: take the hours per day shown in the result and multiply by the days off.
