How the birthday countdown works
Enter a date of birth and the tool finds the next time that month and day comes round, this year or next. It counts to midnight at the start of that day in your time zone, so when it reaches zero it is officially the birthday where you are. On the birthday itself, it moves on to the following year. It also shows the current age in years, months and days.
The date stays on your device: the calculation happens in your browser.
Birthdays on February 29
If you were born on a leap day, your birthday only appears on the calendar every four years or so. In other years this tool counts to March 1, the day after February 28. Some people celebrate on February 28 instead; both are common, and the official rule for legal age varies by country.
Make it a habit to remember
The easiest way not to miss a birthday is to see it coming. A few weeks of notice gives you time to order a gift, book a table or plan a call, rather than scrambling the day before.
Put this countdown on your Home Screen

- Name it, set Starts to the next birthday and set Repeat to Yearly.
